The boots have zero heel drop, no toe spring, and no arch support, promoting a natural and unrestricted foot position.

With each pair of Palustria boots, two pairs of insoles are included, as we understand that not all feet are the same, and not everyone will fit a pair of Chelsea boots since they cannot be adjusted. Therefore, we have included a 7mm red insole and a 5mm black insole.
Please note: If you know you won’t need, e.g., the red insole (for example, if you have high arches) and would like to practice mindful consumption, as I do, you can leave a note on your order, and I’ll remove it before shipping the shoes to you.
Both insoles are made with a top layer of soft, vegetable-tanned leather, memory foam in the middle, and cork on the bottom.
It’s also possible to wear the boots without an insole, as there is a thin layer of strobel material at the bottom, which is primarily made from textile, providing a comfortable surface to walk on.
